Backward planning seems to be the situation as of now for the 15-17 October 219th Reunion. The 17th will be a busy and fun day. Last week I talked to the Ozark Chapter of the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation. Asked them for consideration in supporting our reunion with some 0-1 rides in the Enterprise area. I was informed that they would love to However; they have a commitment to support the 199th and 221st "Delta Birddog" reunion at Sam Dawson's place in Baker, Fl on that day. Talked with the organizers of that affair and as a result we were invited to participate with them on that day for camaraderie, 0-1 rides and a catfish lunch. The location is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Enterprise, just north of Crestview FL. Plans for that day include: October 17th Schedule - *Depart The Hampton Inn 8 AM arriving there about 9:30 *Depart Baker, Fl around 3PM arriving Enterprise about 4:30 *The banquet will be held at the Enterprise Country club starting around 5:30. Trying to keep the registration fee under $100 per person which will cover the banquet, bus charter and the lunch at Baker, FL.
